Privacy Policy

This policy explains what happens when you visit The Primal Journal (primaljournal.com). We keep it short and in plain language, because we collect very little.

What we collect

We don't ask for your name, email address or any other personal information. There is no account to create and nothing to fill in. This website does not store anything about you on our side.

Cookies and your choice

The first time you visit, we ask whether you accept cookies. Nothing optional is stored until you choose:

• Accept — we load Google Analytics, which sets cookies to measure how the site is used: which pages are read, how long visits last and roughly where visitors are from. The data is aggregated and never identifies you personally.
• Decline — no analytics runs and no tracking cookies are set. You can change your mind at any time by clearing this site's cookies in your browser, which brings the choice back.

Google Analytics

Google Ads measurement

We sometimes promote this journal with Google Ads. When you accept cookies, a Google Ads tag tells us whether a visitor who clicked one of our ads went on to read an article. This measures our advertising; it does not identify you, and we never send Google your name, email or anything you type. Links to other websites

Articles and the products page link to an online supplement store so you can buy the products we feature. Some of those links are affiliate links, which means we may earn a small commission if you buy something — at no extra cost to you. This is how we keep the journal free to read.

Once you click through, a different company is responsible for you: their own privacy policy, their own cookies, and cookies they may set if you create an account or place an order with them. We also disclose this on the page where those links appear.

Images and third-party content

Product photos are served by the store we link to, so their server sees the standard technical details any website request involves (your IP address, browser type and the page that requested the image) when this site loads them.

Children

The Primal Journal is written for adults and is not directed at children under 16. We don't knowingly collect any data from children.

Your rights

Because we collect no personal data ourselves, there is normally nothing for us to provide, correct or delete. If you accepted analytics and want that data removed, the simplest step is to clear your cookies and decline when asked again. Changes to this policy

If we add features that change how the site works — for example a newsletter — we'll update this page and the date at the top before they go live.
